In order to keep pace with ever changing technology, DMS has invested in a CAD/CAM software package. This will allow us to take in customers CAD data, and produce cutting paths to manufacture soft tooling in house. The CAD information will also enable the generation of 5 axis trim paths for our routers, thus keeping parts faithful to original CAD data and minimising errors.
This will enable us to offer a much more flexible service for our customers, leading to reduced lead times for new projects.

In addition to our existing chrome plating service, DMS is offering a paint allowing a chrome effect to be applied to any surface. There is also an option to apply the finish to a clear moulding enabling the part to be back illuminated. This opens up lots of oppotunities with signage, and has already been used on a large automotive signage contract in the states. |
